There are many positions available in the Sheriff's Office and at the top of that pyramid is the administration division. This is where your elected Sheriff, Steven R. Hogan manages and directs the agency. Assisted by his Chief Deputy and two Captains who lead from the front.
Sheriff Steven R Hogan
Sheriff Hogan is a well known, local law enforcement leader. After his time as the Chief of Eminence, he became a well liked and trusted conservative Chief of Police. Known for his strong stance against drugs in our community, the citizens of Shannon County chose him to be their Sheriff. Now he leads from the front to give the county the best possible law enforcement possible.
Chief Deputy Hughes
Chief Hughes is a long term law enforcement veteran who has the distinction of being Chief of Deputies. Hughes is a administrative Major. Hughes specializes in the day to day paper work and policy that makes our agency run.
Captain Brumble
Captain Brumble has had a long career in law enforcement. Captain Brumble is the Patrol Division Commander as well as the K-9 Division Commander, bringing his years of K-9 handler experience to bear. This duel role makes him the ideal candidate to lead the Sheriff's counter drug efforts. Additionally, Brumble manages the jail and dispatch administratively as well.
